week 3 site reviews.

Okay, first off, I just want to apologize for my lack of blog lately I have just been super busy and the days that I haven't been I have been super lazy. Anyway, I want to continue to do site reviews each week. Thank you to everyone who reads this really I just like to do it for fun but I love that there are people actually reading this stuff.  This week is going to be kind of short because I wanted to save some sites for next week so I don't run out. I've been spending a lot more time on each site so I can give you a bit more detailed reviews. Alright let's get this road on the show!

babygirlboutique.com: This site is really geared more towards an alternative kind of style. They have a lot of retro inspired items and pin- up type clothing. I really liked the selection of shoes, gloves, and lingerie. another thing I really liked about this site was that they had a home decor section. I love when sites have unique home decor because I have kind of a different style and I don't like my house to look like it could be just anybody's house. I want my house to LOOK like it's MY house. My favorite thing on this site was their little bug hair clips. I went through the whole little bow in my hair phase and now I am sooo OVER it. At the same time I still love hair accessories so, it was nice to find something a little different. The only thing I didn't like about this site was that I really liked the jewelry but I thought it was kind of highly priced. I think I would still buy it though as like a gift or something for a really special occasion.

beatdropscloset.com:  I would mainly describe this site as a raver's paradise. They really have a little bit of everything you could possible need for you rave kit. I really like that they have the option to buy complete outfits because sometimes it's cheaper that way. I also really liked the tutu, gas mask, and leg warmer selection. I found they have my favorite selection of belts I have seen yet, pretty much any color or style of pyramid belt you could want they have. Plus, they are super cheap as far as belts go. I was equally impressed by their bead selection. I really love working with pony beads and they have all kinds. I would have to say my favorites were the dino beads and the marine life beads, though. I was actually kind of surprised to find Sugar Pill eyeshadow on this site. I had just recently heard about the brand in a video and had never heard of it before. I think they have some great colors and pretty moderately priced as well. The selection of fake eyelashes on this site also floored me. There is literally a TON of falsies on here and they are all in super fun playful colors. They also have lights on this site but I'm not too interested in that at the time because my mom has epilepsy so I can't really use a lot of it right now.

gojane.com: I really LOVE all the clothes and shoes on this site. They have a lot of different things and it doesn't really matter what style you have or what you are looking to spend I am sure you will find something on this site and fall in love with it. Although, sometimes it IS kind of hard to find something in your size. I wasn't overly impressed by the bracelets, handbags, or necklaces. Although in the bracelet section they did have some really cute bangles. I don't know why I didn't really like the necklaces, I think the designs are maybe just lacking something. I'm really picky when it comes to necklaces. As for the handbags I just thought there wasn't a very good selection and there weren't many that came in a variety of colors which I kind of expected judging by the shoe collection. Over all though I would definitely shop on this site I think the clothes and shoes are really cute and pretty affordable. One other thing I would love to see improvement on is the swimwear collection. Maybe it's just because it's not quite the swimwear season yet.

lolarocksclothing.com: This is a fairly new site. It's geared at an alternative kind of a style kind of like Babygirl Boutique.  I really really LOVED the Misfits cardigan, hopefully will be purchasing that at some point. There's not much of a selection on this site but it is fairly affordable. I am totally looking forward to how this site is going to expand in the future!

Alrighty kittens, that's all for this week! I hope you enjoyed it and take care!

I am Mr. Mojo Risin.

So here it is. If you know me you may know that I am convinced that I am Jim Morrison's reincarnate. I would like to now discuss my reasoning behind this. We both like to write offbeat slightly morbid poetry. We both have a love of whiskey and leather pants. I have no fear of death and find near death experiences very fascinating. I also enjoy pretty much anything Native American. I find it very interesting. I have a similar sense of humor and like to mess with people's minds .. all in good fun. Both of our families are like gypsies in that we move around a lot. We both have chaotic relationships with our lovers. For all of these reasons I truly believe I am Jim Morrison reincarnated if you don't believe me that's okay I just really think I am. It's not like I am like a crazy person it's just a feeling I have in my soul. Also he was born in Sagittarius and died in Gemini. I am a Gemini...so I don't know why but somehow I think that is related.

Well I hope you enjoyed this ramble.

eternally yours. xo.

Site Reviews week 2. (the GREAT of UK)

Along my adventures on the interweb. I have come across a few really awesome UK sites for fashion and accessories. I am not really sure if I would pay the shipping but...there is SOME things I am totally considering getting and trying not to think of shipping rates. I also thought it would be nice maybe you are reading this in a different country and you can get better shipping rates. Also these are NOT the most affordable sites just things I really thought were reasonably priced based on their "cool factor". Enjoy!

punkyfish.com: This site has a ton of awesomeness. they have a ton of different styles of clothes and accessories whether you are punk, glam, or hippie there's a little bit of everything. I did say this was not a list of the most affordable sites around but on here there is quite a wide range of prices. Especially for shoes. In fact I think the shoe section is the best part of the site. I also liked the handbags. Plus,  I don't know who the girl with the amazing purple hair is but I am pretty sure we need to party.

thevintagerevolution.com: I love the hoodies and the accessories on this site. This is a very emo sceney nu rave kind of style. I think they are pretty affordable not like super cheap but not super steep, ye degg?  The "jewellery" as they say across the bay is super affordable though. Plus it's all really cute and looks made very well. Definately thinking about hauling some accessories from here that is for sure.

linksoflondon.com: This is one of the more expensive sites on the list. Definitely worth looking into if you are on the hunt for a gift for your significant other. The jewelry on this site is really nice quality by the looks of it (not to mention judging by the price.) Like Punkyfish this site also has a wide variety of styles to suit many different people. They also have accessories and "man jewels" like cuff links and watches. Go check it, really neat site.

dreamgirl-shopping.co.uk: This is a clubwear and lingerie site. Like Punkyfish there is a wide range of prices. I really liked most on this site was their selection of patterned tights and their legging collection. I also really enjoyed browsing the mini dresses. For sure if you are looking for some unique tights and leggings check this site out!

bitchingandjunkfood.com: I love this site it's so rocker even the name of it. This is probably the most expensive site on the list besides LinksofLondon. I don't really care if it is somewhat expensive there are some things on here I would totally save up for. They do not have a very wide selection of stuff but what they do have is amazing. I die for the headdresses on this site,  I want one so bad!  There's also these insane lip sunglasses. I adore this site and will definitely be checking out more from them in the future.

Well that's all for the Brits. Even if you are not from the UK I would take the time to at least look at some of the stuff on these sites because if you are a fashion lover like myself it may inspire you to do something different.

Keep it classy!

Sweet site reviews.

I have been discovering a lot of new sites lately and I just wanted to share them all with you. They all seem to have really good stuff at great prices and I have heard good things about all of them. I totally intend to try some of the products from these sites myself  I am just waiting until I get a little bit more money.

Subscription sample sites: These sites charge a small fee each month. They send you a box full of sample products and sometimes they even send full size products. Not sure what one I want to try first yet but if you have tried any of them or want to suggest one please let me know.

myglam.com: The subscription for this site is $10 a month or $110 for the whole year. When you first get to the site they have you take a quiz on what your make-up wearing style is and I really like that about it. I have seen a few people on Youtube get this and do reviews on it and they all had good things to say. Not only do they send samples of really good products but sometimes you will get a full sized product that usually retails double or more of what the cost for the month of your MyGlam bag. That's another thing I really like is that I'm not 100% but  I am pretty sure every month they send you a new make-up bag.

birchbox.com: This site has the same subscription prices as MyGlam does. I really like this site because it gives you points to put towards products in their store. Also, all of the proceeds from the full sized products in the store go to charity and that is ALWAYS a plus. Another thing Birchbox has in common with MyGlam is that they have really good brands and like I said before they send full sized versions too.

Beauty supply sites: Pretty self explanatory....

mizoutlet.com: This is basically like an online dollar store. I've heard everything is really good quality though. They have a bunch of different stuff from tights to hair bows to lip gloss and even jewelry. Everything on here is really cute and stylish (well, aside from the scrunchies.) I really like the bracelets and the hair clips. Another thing I really liked is that everything comes in a bunch of different colors.

cydangieshop.com:  Cydangie as you may know is a make-up guru on Youtube. She has a lot of stuff on her site for sale. I don't know if she makes some of the stuff or what. Anyway, everything on there is really nice stuff for pretty low prices. Definitely if you are looking for good affordable make-up brushes or eye shadow palettes I would check this out.

bornprettystore.com: This site is INSANE. I really could not believe the things they had on here. they had all kinds of stuff. They had those creepy test hands like they have at cosmetology school for practicing acrylics, they had eyelash extension kits, they even had a whole section of Hello Kitty stuff (I know my sister would LOVE this.) I was really surprised at the prices too everything was way cheap. It still looked like it had really good quality though. Another great thing about this site they have free shipping which is awesome for anyone. Anyone at all.

cherryculture.com: This is kind of like another online dollar store but they do have some higher priced stuff too. I really liked that they had L.A. colors because that is one of my favorite "drugstore" brands especially for eyeshadow. I usually buy it at the dollar store but they never seem to have all the colors. They for sure don't have all the colors that Cherry Culture has. L.A. colors despite being a dollar store make up is actually really good, the only thing i don't like is mine seem to break easy (but, then again I have had them for a while and I toted them around alot.) I also really liked the nail polish they had every color looked like fun.

foxylocks.com: I have heard a ton about this site. It's for hair extensions. They are clip ins, of course, and they ARE human hair. They also have instant beehives if you are going for that Amy Winehouse look.  In addition to that there are false lashes on here too. They come in a lot of different colors to match your hair type and they come in three different thicknesses. I have heard they last pretty well for about six months if you wear them everyday and if you are really paranoid about them getting messed up they also have cases to keep them in while you sleep or whatever.

flatironexperts.com: Basically this is just a WHOLE LOT of hair stuff. They have every kind of straightener,  curling iron, hair dryer, and roller set you could imagine. They range anywhere from $30 to over $300. So, if you are a hairstylist and you can't find what you are looking for at Sally or Aerial I would try this site. by the name of the site I know it seems like they would just have styling tools but they also have a wide selection of hair care stuff. They have waxing kits and extensions on here too.

Circle lens sites: If you haven't heard of circle lenses, it's what Lady GaGa wears in the "Telephone" video. If you haven't seen that they are basically contact lenses to make your iris appear bigger and more doll like. True circle lenses are just a black ring surrounding your outer iris but they come in all kinds of different styles and colors.

candylens.com: I like this site mainly because it offers a wide selection of circle lens. It also has some beauty products. Probably my favorite thing I am really looking forward to trying is the face masks on here. The one thing I don't like about this site is their selection of lens cases.

pinkyparadise.com: I like that this site has a wide selection of everything. The circle lenses are fairly affordable on here but, not too impressed by the prices on the beauty products.

kiwiberry1-collection.com: I really like this site just for the lenses themselves. They really don't have too much of a selection of other stuff. They do run promotions quite often though so, that's nice. Another thing I like about this site is they have a prescription lense section. In the other sites I found that part kind of confusing.

honeycolor.com: The prices on this site are pretty decent. This is definitely my favorite site for lens cases because they have such a wide selection and they are all really cute. They also have the best selection of eye drops I have seen. probably my favorite circle lens site I have found.

Clothing sites: Need I say more?

glamorose.com: This is mainly just a lingerie store. They do have some cute shoes and some other stuff too. What I liked most about this site is everything was priced really well and  they looked pretty high quality. Only time will tell. I thought I would share it with you anyway because I know if you do modeling you are always looking for good stuff for shoots.

lovemode.com: I heard about this site from a girl I subscribe to on Youtube. She modeled a couple of outfits that I thought were cute so I went and checked it out. Everything was really cute and stylish. I also liked that everything was under $25. I was eyeing up a couple of dresses so I will let you know what I think when I get them, if I get them.

rustyzipper.com: This is a vintage clothing site. I don't know how you feel about vintage but I L.o.V.E it! I found this site a few years ago and now that I have the platform to do it I am glad to share it with you. At some point I will have to post a picture of a dress I got from there that mysteriously disappeared. It was like this mini dress with bell sleeves and it was silver. It was gorgeous I really have no idea what happened to it I am super sad. Anyway I love vintage because it is so unique and since I reside in an area where it's very hard to find vintage I truly adore this store. I have been looking at some peasant skirts on there that I am for sure going to get once I get paid. I will let you know what I think. For real go check out this site, it is awesome!

Well that's all I have for you today. Not sure what is coming up next pretty sure you will enjoy it probably a tutorial. Anything else you wanna see? Leave a comment and I will check it out.

check ya later kittens! xo.

Crushes in the Celebrity Fashion (with brief explanations)

James Franco

Image via Buddytv.com

I started liking James Franco after I saw him on Fuse Celebrity Playlist. He just seemed really down to earth and totally charming. Not to mention he is a babe by far. Then I saw him on Spiderman, Freaks and Geeks, and of course, Pineapple Express. He is just a top notch actor and seems like he would just be completely chill to hang out with and really nice.

Jimmy Pop

I'm not sure how this crush started. I just like this guy, okay? He's himself and he really doesn't seem to care what anybody thinks. He kind of reminds me of someone that would like be in my crew in high school. Basically just a bunch of dorks hanging around smokin' da herbs. He just seems like a big sweetheart and a little kinky which is fun. Oh, in case you didn't know he's the front man for Bloodhound Gang.

Chris Pontius

Another delectable dork to add to the list. Where do I begin? I have been a smidgen obsessed with Pontius since I first saw him on Jackass.  I mean he is just funny and has this weird like Tarzan thing about him, especially evident in Wildboyz. I mean he just looks like you could swing from his rope all day long, am I right? I would say yes.

Emma Stone

Okay, so, I'm not really bisexual or anything but I would swing that way for this girl. I first saw her in the House Bunny. I kind of have a thing for her now. I just like her whole attitude and style. She seems like she would be a lot of fun in and out of bed. Plus, I don't think my parents would mind if I brought her home.

Kaley Cuoco

To top off the list there's one more female. She's really cute and funny. I remember her on 8 Simple Rules. Then I saw her on Charmed, and I was like "Wow she's really good at fight scenes too." Basically I have a crush on her because she's hot but she could probably kick some ass. Plus she's another one of those that just seems like she would be hanging out with me anyway, if that leads to a pillow fight then I am totally down.

New Music.

So, Lately I have been scouring youtube and listening to Pandora in hopes of finding new bands I like. I usually like a really bluesy type sound but I enjoy a little bit of everything. Some of my all time favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Nirvana, Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, and Queens of the Stone Age. Of course there are tons of others but those are what I generally have on.

Some bands and artists I have recently discovered and really enjoy are The Black Angels, Kurt Vile, Lana Del Rey,  and ModSun. The first three are pretty bluesy and the last one is a hip hop artist. Here are my fave songs of each artist.

The Black Angels:

Kurt Vile:

Lana Del Rey:

ModSun:

As you can probably tell I am kind of a hippie. I really like hippie music and everything very boho. I really recommend checking out some more stuff from these guys and I expect big things from all of them.

Have a wonderful day! xo.
